ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICE: Please join us on Wednesday, February 17th at 7 p.m. for our Ash Wednesday service.

TRINITY MOVIE NIGHT: Come join the fun on Friday, February 19th starting at 6 p.m. for snacks while Christian music videos play on the sanctuary screens. At 7 p.m. sharp, our main feature will start. ADULT STUDIES CLASS: Please join Tom Rasmussen on Tuesdays, at 7 p.m. as he continues a six week study titled, “The Intimate Marriage”. This course is designed for those who are newly married to those that have been married several decades and will take you into a deeper relationship with your spouse. ADULT EDUCATION CLASS: Join John Hultman on Sunday mornings following the 1st service in the library as he lead a discussion on that morning's Sermon & Scripture.

SPECIAL OFFERING FOR HAITI DISASTER RELIEF: Our Session has approved a special offering for the next 4 weeks for the Presbyterian Disaster assistance fund that will go the aiding disaster relief in Haiti. Please write your check out to Trinity, and write in the notation line, Haiti.

INTERCESSIONAL PRAYER ON THE RADIO: Pastor Joe will be the featured Pastor on radio station 94.1, The Voice, during the week of Feb. 1st - 5th from 3:15 - 4 p.m.. The program called, Intercessions, will incorporate a brief highlight of Trinity, a short devotional by Joe & continuous prayer for the duration of the 28 min. program. Each day, a representative from Trinity will join Joe. If you are interested, please contact the church office at 336-0665.

HERE'S WHATS HAPPENING

 MISSION SPAGHETTI DINNER: Mark your calendar for Saturday, February 27th from 6 - 8 p.m. for our Mission committee’s annual Spaghetti feed! Tickets are on sale in the commons area at Trinity now and cost just $7 per person. Orders will also be taken for spaghetti sauce. Volunteers are needed in a variety of capacities to make this a success, sign-up sheets are in the commons area. Money raised will go towards ongoing Hunger projects & Educate Peru.

1 DAY WOMEN’S RETREAT: Coming Saturday, March 6th from 9 - 5 p.m. is a your chance to enjoy a repeat of the popular Fall women’s retreat topic, “Esther, Chosen for Such a Time as This.” Cost is $20 which includes lunch and snacks and child care will be provided. Registration will be held on Sundays in February in the commons area following services. Invite your friends to come enjoy this retreat with you! Questions? Contact Margaret Mitchell at 343-9036

LENTEN STUDY: Join Rev. Lee Hicks every Wednesday at 1 p.m. starting on February 17th (Ash Wednesday) through Holy Week for a Lenten study on spiritual discipline. His group will meet in the library. If you have any questions, please contact him at 336-6590.

BSU VAN DRIVERS NEEDED: Trinity is starting a new outreach ministry to BSU students by providing a shuttle to and from the 10:30 church service on Sunday mornings. We would like to build a team of 4 or more drivers and currently have 2 signed on. Please contact the church office at 336-0665 if interested.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY: Our Wednesday morning women’s bible study group - Contact Susan Hartman at 336-9931.

XWISE: Meets every Sunday from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. Our Youth group is doing a volunteer service project on Sunday, February 7th at the Boise Rescue Mission’s, River of Life homeless shelter. Youth will depart from Trinity at 3:45 p.m. sharp and volunteer serving dinner and doing some light maintenance from 4:15 - 8:00. Parents will need to pick up their youth at 8 p.m. at the River of Life at 575 S. 13th St. Closed toed shoes are required and conservative work clothes are appropriate. Boise Rescue Mission specifically addressed the request for conservative tops (i.e. T-Shirts) to our young ladies in the group. AFTER CHURCH BRUNCHES:  For those of you that would like to get to know each other better or just spend some time with other Trinity folks we have an an Advent After Church Brunch (es) following both services. All you need to do is to gather in the commons area near the church office about 10 minutes following either service. When there is a group, just decide where you’d all like to go and eat. This is a no host informal group of people to enjoy brunch with!  

2ND WIND: Our group for Retirees & Near Retirees meet the third Friday of the Month in room 7 at Trinity. Please join us on Friday, February 19th at 12 noon for a catered  Pot Roast dinner catered by Raedeans. Cost is $9 pp and you must RSVP to the church office by February 17th at 336-0665. This months program is “Hospice from the Pastor’s Perspective” by Rev. Norman Shrumm.   Contact Lee Hicks at 208-336-6590 for more information. 

MOPS GROUP:  Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) (Birth - Kindergarden) group meets the 2nd Sunday of the month (1st Sunday in Feb & May) from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Trinity. CHILDREN’S CHOIR & THEATER: All children, ages 4 - 6th grade are welcome to join us for our children’s choir & theater program. They meet on Wednesdays through the spring. The Sonshine choir (ages 4-6) meets from 4 - 4:30 and our older group, Voices for Life, is also a theater group and meets from 4:15 - 6 pm. Questions? PRAYER CHAIN: In times of sorrow, worry, stress & joy, it’s comforting to know that others will pray for you! TPC has a wonderful, caring prayer chain that continually prays for anyone who needs it. Several of our older folks on the prayer chain are stepping down and we could use some extra people praying for those who need it! Questions? Contact Karen Brenneman at 658-5949.

9:00 am Sunday Traditional Service 

This Sunday church service offers a more formal style of worship in a relaxed atmosphere and features the music of the Sanctuary Choir with an opportunity to enjoy the great hymns of the church. 

10:30 am Sunday New Community Service 

This Sunday church service is centered around the "Worship Band" and features contemporary Christian music with multi-media presentations.
